The privledge of a lifetime is being who you are.
— Joseph Campbell

BE YOU

Sometimes that’s easier said than done. Our current environment, what we carry from our past, and what we envision for our future means at times we can feel stuck, overwhelmed, or as if our life is on a never-ending cycle of rinse and repeat.

Are you at a crossroads or looking to make a positive change?

I’m Julie

a trained life coach, registered yoga teacher, and mindfulness practitioner.

I’m a registered yoga and mindfulness teacher and trained life coach. Combining proven coaching and mind/body practices - along with 20 years of practical business, parenting, and life skills - I help create positive change and results for those in transition, a period of confusion, or who are seeking clarity or support in some aspect of their life - career change, parenting, relationships, grief and loss.

I incorporate somatic, or body awareness practices such as meditation and yoga, into our coaching sessions to invite connection to your whole self as we prepare for transformative change.

Areas of Support
-Career & Life Transitions (retirement, empty nest, grief and loss)
-Stress Management
-Anxiety & Overthinking
-ADHD Support (prioritizing, time management, procrastination)
-Moving past limiting beliefs
-Creating positive habits
-Yoga & meditation instruction

....and then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful then the risk it took to blossom.
— Anais Nin

Coaching offers clarity and direction. It is not therapy, but can be very therapeutic as you uncover a path to discovery and change. I listen closely and hold a safe space that is wide open to your limitless potential.

Are you ready to a make positive change in your life?

  • People who are ready for change, growth and transformation and are ready to accept support toward that end. Most have tried to change on their own – self-help books, podcasts, diets, and exercise routines – all with short-term, limited success. Now they are looking for a more profound, longer-lasting shift.

I often work with strong, smart, talented women. Women who are used to doing it all on their own. Women who take care of “everything” and take on too much. Women who struggle saying no, establishing boundaries, delegating, or who tend to always please others first and put themselves last. Women who are the last to ask for help. Women who on the outside, project as strong, successful, and accomplished (because they are:- )) yet on the inside, are depleted, filled with self-doubt, self-criticism, and worry. Many women I work with feel stuck, have low self-esteem or motivation. Many feel they are meant for something else but aren’t sure what that is.

If any of that resonates, let’s connect.

  • I believe that every person has within them what they need to succeed. As your coach, I help you draw that out. Utilizing strengths-based coaching techniques combined with trauma-informed somatic (body) practices like meditation, yoga, breath work, and journaling, I offer holistic somatic life coaching that welcomes your whole person – mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually – to help you gain wise insight and create positive change and transformation.

  • I am deeply and personally influenced by somatic, or body, practices such as meditation, breath work, yoga and journaling that calm and connect our bodies and mind so that we can reestablish relationship with our self and envision a path forward that is aligned with our true nature. These practices have supported for me for more than 20 years as I have navigated grief and loss, major life and career changes, parenting struggles, illness, and more.

I incorporate somatic work into our coaching sessions to ensure we are inviting your whole self to the table as we prepare for transformative change.

Why? Our minds, bodies, and spirit are connected. As Bessel van der Kolk’s book avows, The Body Keeps the Score. Therefore, for profound, lasting change we need to access and work with our whole self. If we focus on just one aspect and discount or exclude the presence or power of another, we limit our ability to grow.

Many of us grow disconnected from our bodies and senses over time. We compartmentalize parts of ourselves and are often conditioned to override our essential connections, innate senses, and inherent intuition. As a result, we may operate from a place of well-worn habit versus conscious choice. We may unconsciously ride the tides of old stories and behaviors that may have served us once, but no longer do. We may try to think or talk ourselves into a new way of being, but the result is usually temporary.

Curious if coaching is for you? Let’s connect to see.

Some of my most significant influences are Thich Nhat Hanh, Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, Rick Hanson, Dr. Gabor Mate, Arielle Schwartz, Bessel van der Kolk, Stephen Porges, Richard Schwartz, Pema Chodron, and Kristin Neff among many other amazing guides.

  • We begin with a complementary discovery call where we meet via Zoom. If we are a good fit, we will set our first 60 min session.

Not quite clear on your goal or vision? No worry. That is part of the process and the work.
